Five Finger Death Punch Forced To Cancel European Shows
It’s not all bad news though…
Five Finger Death Punch have been forced to cancel their European dates in June. That’s the bad news.
The good news is that they’ll still be playing Download! This is the only European date that the band will be playing. We’re guessing the size of the pits on Defenders Of The Faith might have made them even more eager to return to our shores.
A statement from the band reads: “In terms of the recording side, we were keen to work with Randy Staub (who has mixed Matallica, Stone Sour, and many more) on the album mixes, but due to Randy’s tight schedule, [we] were only able to secure his services at a time that makes it impossible for the tour to take place. We apologize to our Europeans fans for the change in schedule, but promise to be back for a full run of dates this fall.”
Catch Five Finger Death Punch on the main stage on Friday, June 12th.
If you can’t make it to Download this year, Metal Hammer will be on hand to bring you the biggest and best reviews live from Donington as the action unveils! Gill and Beez will also be on hand to blog about all of the backstage shenanigans on the site and on our Twitter and we’ll be bringing you the very best interviews, live from Download! Don’t miss out!
Download will take place on June 12th – 14th at Donington and will feature sets from Faith No More, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, ZZ Top, Down, Killswitch Engage, Journey, Clutch and many, many more.
