ffdp_90Golden God winners, Five Finger Death Punch, are set to release the first single, called ‘Hard To See’, from their forthcoming album on July 27th.

You can check out all the goings on at the Golden Gods here!

The song, will be available for download initially but a physical release is set to follow. It is backed by new song ‘Bulletproof’ on the b-side. The single is taken from ‘War is the Answer’ which is set for release later this year.

The band have leaked a sneak preview of the album.

Guitarist and principle songwriter, Zoltan Bathory, commented on how the new album is sounding: “In terms of the overall style, I would say that we’ve continued the journey we started on the first album, so there’s a healthy balance of melody and aggression, and as always we concentrated on writing strong metal songs in the traditional sense.

“There’s some epic moments on the record, and there’s some straight-up home-wreckers, too. All I can say is, those who liked our first album are going to LOVE this one!”

The album was produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne) and is presently being mixed by Randy Staud (Metallica).

They were recently in the UK to play the Download festival. Watch it here!

One of the hottest properties in metal right now, they won the Golden God award for best new band.

Heard the new single the other day. Its good to hear they arn’t just doing generic stuff anymore, don’t get me wrong its not great but i like it more than the previous album already.

I hadn’t heard them before I saw them at Brixton (Defenders Of The Faith), and thought they were good.
Now they’re my favourite band!
I’ll be sure to get the next album.
