noob, label says late summer, early autumn for the new album. There’s a new single on June 8th but it’s taken from The Way Of The Fist.

I got a feeling it’s going to be really political… I like a band that can deliver a message, but now it sorta seems like they’re all saying the same thing.

They were surprisingly big before TWOTF came out. I was enjoying there stuff before the American release date.

BTW Hammer, DOTF wasn’t their live debut in the UK, there own headlining show at the Islington Bar Academy was. I should know, I was there. Amazing gig.

Way of the Fist is at least 18 months old. I been playing their stuff in my DJ set for well over a year now. Can’t wait for the 2nd album

Alex, yeah you’re right. But technically that was a warm up for the Defenders tour so it’s much the same thing.

WOTF was released in 07, was just re-released this yr again and seems to be doing well cant wiat for this new stuff

I don’t really know, but there is something about this band that I just don’t like. I won WOTF in a contest and thought “Hey, nice!”, but already when the title-track started playing I had a problem.
Their music just sounds very… Empty? I think that’s it. Like there is missing an extra band-member throughout the entire record.

Sorry for being a let-down and all, but I just don’t get the hype.

That guy is a fuckin beast, just listen to the song “the way of the fist” just after Ivan says “Zoltan, up in the sky.” Also, Matt Snell is an amazing bassist, seriously just listen carefully and youll find all the intricacies in the songs as he plays them. FFDP is the shit.

Yeah but if you heard any of their interviews that album had been worked on in 2001 with a different front man from what I understood. Then they flew Ivan out to L.A. and rerecored it. So for them to release a new album so soon doesn’t surprise me. I’m definatly excited though. The first time I heard “The Bleeding” I fell in love. I ran out that same day and picked up their album. Amazing I was going through some shit with a long turn girlfriend and that album helped me through a lot of shit!

There are a few European gigs that has been canceled. Due to the fact that they want to release their new album “The war is the awnser” they have to cancel some of the gigs in order to make the album ready for sale END OF AUGUST. However they promised to come back to all canceled gigs to give them a massive show with offcourse some of the new songs from the new album. So for those who aren’t sure when the album will come? hold on, late august it will be…
