Yeahh, compared to devildriver and other bands on the friday, 5fdp are little boys, i like them, but just, there not ready to headline, even more so over devildriver who i always thought were going to headline, being the first anocement and everything. Ahh i can dreamm L:(

I kind of assumed that Iced Earth and Devildriver were the intended headliners. Go figure. Still haven’t seen what the fuss is about with FFDP but I suppose I’ll give them a look all the same.

Now that i’ve read some of the comments,why are five finger headlining? I would say devildriver has more demand,are a better band and bigger overall than them, and i would say the same about skindred but i don’t think they should headline.

Headlining? Seriously? They’ve been around for like 3 years. and they’ve only been known round here for about… one. I’d like to see them, but it’s so annoying that they’re THIS big.

Simply put, 5FDP sells at least five times more records than Devil Driver. Probably even more than all the bands combined on the entire festival, and these things are all about popularity. No matter how much history Devildriver or Iced Earth have, they can’t headline over a band that’s immensely more popular, and outsells them at least 8:1 ! I mean no disrespect just stating facts.

Second, I think it’s pretty lame to hate on any band just because they’re getting popular. That’s some elitist poser shit right there.
btw. 5FDP is one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

i know its to each their own and i like some bands that alot of ppl on this site hate,but i really dont get the big deal about 5fdp,i saw them at defenders of the faith and i didnt think much of them,they sound real generic to me the clean vocals just sound nu metal to me.

I think 5FDP are a better propostion live than on record. I thought they were pretty good on the Defenders Of The Faith tour but, I was disappointed by the CD which I bought a few days afterwards.

yeah all my friends think it’s too early for 5FDP to headline seing as a year before at DOTF2 they were the smallest band on the bill however tbh they can pull it off and i really can not fucking wait for this shitttt!

Five Finger Death Punch are the greatest band of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who dislikes them, has probably never seen them live, because trust me, I saw them on thanksgiving, and the wall of death was epic!

Devildriver and Suicidal Tendincies should be ace. IIt’ll be interesting to see who else gets announced. Who’s playing bass For ST these days?
