redman_90Everyone at Hammer is deeply saddened to hear of the death of former 3IOB bassist, Brian Redman.

Redman, who spent two years in 3IOB between 2004 and 2006 and played on the band’s ‘Advance And Vanquish’ album, passed away after being involved in a motor vehicle accident near his home in Tacoma, Washington this past Saturday, September 26th.

He had moved home to Tacoma after a short stay in Southern California. He was recently a barman at Doyle’s Public House in Tacoma and fronted local band, the Dirty Knockers.

Doyle’s Public House co-owner Russ Heaton has posted the following on his bar’s web site: “We have lost a friend, family member, lover, musician and all-around good person.”

Everyone at Metal Hammer would like to pass on their condolences to Redman’s family, friends and all who knew him.
