Four New Bands For Bloodstock!
Avantasia, Whitechapel, Kataklysm and Ex Deo are the newest additions to Bloodstock 2013!
“I know I once said we weren’t gonna do it again, but then I don‘t see a reason to let this die,” says Avantasia mainman (and Edguy frontman) Tobias Sammett. “I wanna put on the biggest thing you have ever seen, I wanna bring more vocalists, play longer shows, and just make it a giant Rock Opera…..I am so looking forward to it. The stage designer has just showed me his stage & light design, and it looks absolutely killer. 2013 will be a major year for Avantasia, and people don’t have a clue how big things are actually going to be! I am very excited – the album will be amazingly epic, and the tour will be too!”
“We played Bloodstock years ago and it was a crazy good time,” adds Kataklysm frontman Maurizio Iacono. “We didn’t make it to England for our latest album, Heaven’s Venom so playing Bloodstock is the perfect gift to all our UK fans that have been pounding our doors to come back… the IRON WILL will be present!”
They join an increasingly stacked and excellent lineup that currently features Friday night headliner King Diamond and Saturday night headliner Lamb Of God, plus Sunday night special guests Anthrax and DevilDriver, Municipal Waste, Fozzy, Firewind, Accept, Amorphis, Dark Funeral and Negiligence.
Bloodstock takes place from August 8-11 2013 at Catton Hall, Derby.
