Fred Durst Speaks Out About Limp Bizkit Reunion

Fred Durst has been speaking to Snoop Dogg (who else would you want to speak to?) about the forthcoming Limp Bizkit reunion.
Speaking on a forthcoming episode of big Snoop’s US show “Dogg After Dark”, Durst has said: “When you have the chemistry, or something that really works, you can go away for a while and do your thing, but Limp Bizkit will never work like it’s supposed to work without the original DNA. The band sounds doper than we ever have, it’s tighter than it’s ever been, there’s something happening — something very special happening with us. We needed that break, and now we’re back, and it feels like we’re stronger than ever.”

Download will take place on June 12th – 14th at Donington and will feature sets from Faith No More, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Prodigy, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, ZZ Top, Down, Journey and many, many more.

That’s completely the wrong attitude SK. I can’t stand Durst, yet I like Limp Bizkit’s tunes. The wrong kind of metalhead is the kind that closes their mind and becomes like all the kids who used to tease you for liking metal.

I agree with “me”. I used to love Nu Metal until all of the rejects started copying others and screwing things up. And yes, Limp Bizkit is not the best, but their certainly not the worst. I’ll give whatever new stuff they have a listen. I don’t think I’ll buy it, but I’ll give it a shot.

Yeah, let’s keep an open mind. I was a pre-teen when LP first came, and they’re one of the bands that got me in to metal. Their later stuff is bullshit, yes, but I’ll give ‘em a listen. If they’d give Durst the boot though, I think they just might make it. ‘Cause lets face it, he’s a dick and a horrible singer.

Limp Bizkit is the kind of music.those people listened to in the 90s. I remember when LB was on Ozzfest. Half the audience was freakin’ jocks( what you would call ‘chavs’).
