HAMMERSMITH APPOLO AND THE AFTERSHOW PARTY OF THE YEAR

With a week to recover and a very bad case of jet lag to get over, we found ourselves back with the Motorhead crew again, arguing with heath and safety officers and fire marshals, emailing insurance documents and keeping fingers crossed that the Hammersmith Appolo didn’t have health and safety as in Vegas.

We scored! It was a legendary venue, and we couldn’t wait to get onto the famous stage! Tonight was the last night of the tour so we were going to make it an extra special one.

After the show we all headed to the aftershow party at Sin on Tottenham Court Road. This venue is like our second home. We had organised the party and we were so glad to see so many of our friends there (although we found Gill from Metal Hammer pissed at the door talking bollocks and generally not knowing what time of day it was – that guy knows how to party. Either that or he is clinically insane). As well as the party, we were performing downstairs for Decadence and Disorder – the whole front row was girls – just how we like it! Hot rock chicks up for some serious front row action!!

The show was amazing but Lemmy was gutted ’cause it was too packed for him to come down and see it – so we arranged a private VIP show for him and all our friends. Our first opportunity to do exactly what WE wanted and thank fuck Sin is closing down cause we did some permanent damage to the ceilings!
