Unfortunately I don’t think its just the way people look, its definately an “easy target” thing. I’m a full on metal disciple and I grew up on a fairly rough council estate where I stood out like a sore thumb.

This incident absolutely disgusted me. The fuckers who did this have no respect for themselves or other people and hopefully will be brought to book. Lucy and Edward should have had a wonderful, peaceful and fear free wedding day just like anyone else. Lucy looked lovely – I wore a purple wedding dress myself, no silly bouffy white chavtastic horrors for me either!

We have the right to dress how we like and to listen to the music we love without persecution. I’m an older metalhead and I go out of my way to impress to people that as a community although we may listen to music that is not perceived to be mainstream, that there is a style of metal for absolutely everybody (my 64 year old Dad now likes HIM, Nightwish and Within Temptation thanks to me) and that metalheads are some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
