i just want to thank everyone for their support. im so glad to see all the alternative community come together and wish me well. i dont think there are more supportive and unjudgemental people than the metal/goth/punk/alternative folk.

The thing that sickens me most about this story is the comments. People are getting too hung up on it being about metal vs chavs.

The fact is, someone got attacked who didn’t deserve it. And it doesn’t matter whether she was a metalhead, a chav or someone who loved fecking reggae, it’s still disgusting.

I’m not saying for a second that this isn’t something to get pissed off about, but when we can stop this whole us vs them mentality, maybe we’ll actually get somewhere as a fecking race.

both my fiancee and i have been ostracized just because we refused to lie back and accept our fate as mindless sheep brainwashed by mainstream drivel, he has had fights picked with him, verbal abuse and constant torment from ignorant morons who believe that iron maiden are ‘devil worshipers’ and that ac/dc stands for ‘anti-christ/devils children’! i have had to endure years of abuse myself, its unbelievable how some people can be so superficial and narrow minded to other peoples music and way of life, those chavs are cowards. on a lighter note, tom araya will strike them down as the swine they are!
p.s. lucy and edward, you looked great, stand tall and dont let those fuckers bring you down. keep it metal!
