Guitar Hero: Metallica Gets New Trailer
Head on in to check the latest trailer from Guitar Hero: Metallica and get all of the latest gossip including news of Cliff Burton’s exclusion.
It has been revealed that gamers will not have the chance to play as former Metallica bassists Cliff Burton and Jason Newstead in the forthcoming ‘Guitar Hero: Metallica’ game. While there is no official statement from the band themselves, Metallica are believed to have thought that it would slightly undermine Robert Trujillo’s standing within the group.
In slightly better news, the game is also set to include skins that will enable players to play as Metallica’s younger selves and other as-yet unnamed metal superstars will be making cameo appearances. The game’s menus will also feel familiar to gamers as they have been designed by long-term Metallica art collaborator, Pushead. Trademark stage set-up’s, lighting effects and crowd chants are also set for inclusion.
For all of the drummers out there, there will also be an ‘expert-plus’ version that will include a second bass pedal for the first time in a video game.
A full set-list is expected to surface next week. What would you like to see on there?
