The last time I saw The Axl Rose Show in Glasgow SECC on my b’day, he and his cohorts were one and a half hours late after BFMV’s set, and we weren’t able to stay the whoel night because my brother was tsrating a new job the next day in Edinburgh so we had to get back there.

He owes a lot of people a show, but on his sense of time I doubt that will happen…

NO chinese Democracy is not as good as anything else GNR have ever done, agreed its a bit shit, but its better than anything velvet revolver have ever done! slash still thinks its 1985 and bands like aerosmith and the rolling stones are hip and up to date.
Axl has tried something new, yes its mostly crap but there’s a few good tracks on there!
Axl, come to europe, and destroy the critics!

if your going to knock the new album, think bout this firstly, how many festivals have you headlined?
how many albums have you sold?

Felix – How does the number of festivals I, we or anyone else has headlined have any relevance to whether or not GnR will be any good? I mean if I were to say, 5 festivals, 4 millions albums….would that mean that my opinion on a proposed UK tour would be any more valid? It wouldn’t.

@Felix – granted, all good points. But none of that is going to make me pay £50 for a ticket. Bollocks to that.

@Felix, dont be an idiot, the album is badly written and badly done, it is just terrible.
I hate it when people say “how many have you sold” and shit like that, obviously not as much as him, but just cause it sells doesnt mean its good, how many albums have Jonas Brothers sold or how many have U2 sold. Again doesnt mean your good.

dont give a fuck now tbh hope they aint at any uk festivals next year after 2006 where he kept walking off stage fans dont deserve that treetment at a gig so i dont think many people will care , im sure many people agree

I would love the Guns N Roses tour to come to the UK, the new album is great despite what people say. Its almost become cool to dislike it.

The Toronto date at the ACC is two minutes walk away. The ticket prices are standard for this arena. Will I go? No fucking way.

Chinese Democracy is a poorly concieved ill produced album. There is no continuity between tracks on the album and being made to pay for the priviledge of listening to it is akin to being made to pay to have numerous finger nails removed one by one with no anaesthetic.

If the band manages to make it to the UK without Axl throwing a hissy fit or one of their numerous musicians (said in the lightest sense of the term) dropping something on their foot then no, I won’t go and see them. Download 06 was reason enough to lose all faith in the travelling circus known as the Axl Rose show.

too little too late. axl your time is up. just kick back and enjoy the money you’ve earned so far. don’t taint your rep anymore than you have already.

Look Chinese Democracy was not worth the 13 year wait. No album could live up to that expectation but there are some incredible tracks on it.
I havent heard anything as good as TWAT, Better, Rhiad or Sorry released this year. This I love is fucking unreal.
He writes true to where hes at in his life.
How could Axl write another AFD when he has been a multimillionaire for the last 20 years. It would be dishonest.
And as a live performer no other frontman is fit to wipe his arse.

Dublin 06 & Manchester 06 were fucking amazing gigs! The fact that people who apparently dont care actually bother to comment at all says it all. GnR in the UK 2010, YES PLEASE!!

I saw them at london docklands and it was by far the best gig I’ve ever been to (and Ive been to a lot), they sounded perfect and everyone in the crowd had a blindin time! If they came to Sonisphere it would be amazing and no one would be disappointed!

If you dont like them, stay at home you tasteless people!
