Ah bollocks, I’m Metallica to the core, but it always had to be Sabbath. Quit giving it all the “Maiden this” “Maiden that”, without Sabbath, there would be no Maiden. I saw Maiden last year at Twickenham and nearly fell asleep. Bruce is so fucking boring, screaming the same fucking thing every 30 seconds “scream for me London…SCREAM FOR ME LOOONDOOON!!”. Seriously guys, learn some new notes and then play them.

Every metal album ever released can be traced back to the first Sabbath album. And, incidentally, it’s about time there was a much greater appreciation of Geezer Butler. The unsung hero of metal.

And to that guy who said the Irons are boring, it really must take a hell of a lot to entertain you, Iron Maiden are one of the best live metal acts to have graced this earth. And unlike Metallica at least Iron Maiden keep putting out cracking abums and sound better live then they did in the 80s. Its a more a less a reverse situation for Metallica in my opinion.

i think they put metallica out in the first round to be all ‘alternative’, i agree tutty. Metallica are the best/biggest metal band ever, simple as that.

When you’ve heard one song, you know exactly how every other one is going to pan out and Bruce performs them all exactly the same. In truth, I went because I enjoyed them at Download but I worked out that’s because I was hammered…
