Hellfest 2010 Announces First Crop Of Bands

First 32 names announced for next year’s Hellfest. How many of these can we expect at Download then?
Immortal and Twisted Sister head up the first 32 names to be announced for next year’s Hellfest festival in Clisson, France.
Other names announced are: 7 Seconds, Agnostic Front, Arch Enemy, Architects, Atheist, Behemoth, Black Cobra, Bloodbath, Born From Pain, Count Raven, Dark Funeral, Dying Fetus, Earth Crisis Finntroll, General Surgery, Ghost Brigade, Gwar, Kampfar, Negura Bunget, Obscura, Rwake, Saviours, Secrets Of The moon, Sepultura, Suffocation, Swallow The Sun, Sworn Enemy, Tankard, Walls Of Jericho and Weedeater.
Hellfest takes place in Clisson, France on June 18th – 20th, 2010.

Not likely to see any of these at Download bar maybe Arch Enemy and Sepultura. More like a Bloodstock line up. Hope Bloodbath and Immortal are at BOA next year!

Download appearances or not, I hope this means there’s a chance of Sister and GWAR getting to blighty this summer!

Behemoth are a UK exclusive at Bloodstock 2010 (why does nobody seem to know this?). Not a bad first selection of bands in this announcement though
Lets hope Immortal make it over, more than likely Bloodstock and that Sepultura reform and they headline Download…..Surely Twisted Sister a bolt on for Sunday download now with this announcement.

I went to Hellfest this year, I highly reccomend it, although it was hard work! I saw 36 bands (whole sets)in 3 days
Bloodbath playing makes it a must as far as im concerned
I went to Hellfest last year, it abolutely pisses on download in terms of lineup, atmosphere, pretty much everything.
That is a good line up alright.
ive been the last few years everyones there for the music, not because they want to be seen there. its an amazing festival by far my favourite as no-one acts like dickheads showing off
To those people wishing gwar would come to the UK, they are! They’re playing at BOA in august. Doubt they’ll play at download though, BOA have a policy of only booking bands who arent playing at other festivals. Same with behemoth
You don’t have to be French to go to this festival, I go every year and I live in the UK!
