Hellyeah Announce New Album Title

Vinne Paul and his hell-raisers announce the details behind their sophomore album.
Hellyeah have announced that the follow-up to their self-titled debut is to be called ‘Stampede’ and will be released on July 12th.
Hellyeah/Mudvayne vocalist Chad grey says: “I couldn’t wait to write this record. I can’t wait for our fans to hear it and I definitely can’t wait to hit the fucking stage and play it!
“‘Stampede’ represents every emotion that you’ve ever had and everything that screams Hellyeah! There’s no smoke and mirrors with what we are. What you see is what you get. And what your get is five guys bringin’ it, a head full of music, bleeding ears and most likely…. drunk!”

“represents every emotion you’ve ever had” – actually Chad, I think that’s what LD 50 was for. Great record, and legendary songs in that. What were your harshest feelings were ours as well…if you ever brought that back, some things never change. As in, WE STILL FUCKING NEED MORE after 2001. More, mate. Not radio-friendly music-making. Anger, beatings, roiling hate, and telling it in a way that we hear it in our heads. not 4/4 ballading and the things you know yourself aren’t all there. Wasn’t it on TEOATTC DVD that you all said “it’s pretty much just a job now”, and because the touring cycle was too emotionally draining to hit those songs night after night? You had 7,000 people feeling exactly those same things. Any time you want to let those, the rest of it back out, we’d like to help you
i don’t like all the hype around this band, just because of the members, mainly Vince Abbott. The music sucks, i thought the guys could do alot better if i’m gunna be really honest.
