Hevy have announced their first batch of bands for this year’s incarnation of the metal, hardcore and rock festival in Port Lympne, Kent – which takes place right next to a zoo, FYI.

Thankfully the definition of “right next to a zoo” is actually a quarter of a mile away – as some zoo animals would become highly stressed by amplified loud music (even if it is excellent heavy metal!).
There have been cases where zoo animals suffered and died as a result of human festivities for example in Sweden http://www.thelocal.se/11586/20080507/
