Iced Earth, Skindred, Devildriver Announced For Hammerfest
Metal Hammer has announced the first headliners for its second Hammerfest shindig in North Wales.
Iced Earth, Skindred and Devildriver have been announced for next year’s Hammerfest three day festival at Pontin’s, Prestatyn, North Wales. The festival will also be Iced Earth’s only UK show and is Devildriver’s UK Spring exclusive, and Skindred are back by massive popular demand after last year’s explosive performance.

Last year saw Opeth, Skindred, Saxon, Wolf and load more awesome bands head up to Wales to rock the socks and cocks off thousands of partying metalheads. Be one of them next time!

290 was the cheapest option available, and granted you do get to live in `normal` accomodation, next to Download not so sure it good vfm.
also there`s Hellfest in france, sonisphere, wacken, download…lots of competition.
i`m sure Wales is beautiful though, never been….

bout 50 bands.
last year opeth and saxon/sepultura were headliners so if you want big bands this might not be for you but it does have a great atmosphere and you do get to say you trashed a pontins resort!!
and you stay in a house with a shower, microwave, tv, etc instead of a muddy tent.
it was amazing last year and with iced earth and skindred back. get hammerfall and exit 10 back aswell then it will be amazing again. carnt wait for it.
Last year was IMENSE! Saxon were epic last year and motherfucking Iced Earth are my favorite band!!! Needless to say im getting some tickets asap…now to find the crew i was with last year and threate…convince them they wana come…
I’m sure its a great time but the price is a bit ridiculous. Its cool that you can pay a deposit now but having to pay the rest by Jan 15th? That soon after xmas seems a bit silly. Maybe if that was 15th Feb it would seem a bit more do-able.
I was there last year and I would recommend it to every metalhead to go! Fuck the price, we made it over from Ireland and it didn’t cost us that much. Where else are you going to see the bands walking around and mingling with the fans? We met Evile, Lee Dorrian, Gama Bomb, members of Saxon, Benji from Skindred, Andreas and Derrick from Sepultura and many more. It’s well worth it!
and at least devildriver have just got an album out so there’s really no excuse for them to pull out-like BFMV
