Ill Niño Guitarist Opens Tattoo Shop

It’s tough to make money from playing music these days. So it’s no surprise that Ill Niño guitarist, Diego Verduzco, has diversified by opening a tattoo store in Canyon Country, California.Meanwhile his band are searching for a new label following their split from Cement Shoes records. Their last album 2008’s ‘Enigma’ sold only 5,000 copies in its first week of release in the US.
Vocalist Christian Machado told Parce Musik recently: “There are a couple of labels that we are looking at but we hopefully make a decision on the right one. Not like the decision we made on this last one.”
Hammer also put the band through their paces recently subjecting them to the fans questions!

5000 copies? that’s fucking terrible. I thought Enigma was a fantastic album but I would really like to see them return to their heavier days of Revolution/Revolucion but still with the emphasis on the latin vibe that was emphasised more on Enigma. Ill Nino rule!
twats , diego passion asides from music is tatto realted stuff. good on him 2bh . Engima was a good effort by the guys but comeon they r an underground metal band u cant expect them to sell like 100,000 straight away , they always get shit from the media etc bt they will never kill the band cause while there are still 5,000 fans they will always be around and they are fuckin amazin live seen them twice in the last yr one of the best bands ive ever seen
5000 copies tells me the record company didn’t market

Thank you guys soo much for your kind comments!, I love this fucking band soo fucking much and when news gets posted about them everyone one the site just rips into them! but i knew i could count on the Metal Hammer family! I cant wait for these guys to get a new label and a new album out!, Have been a fan for 6 years and saw them at Bristol last March was fucking epic! and i have had the pleasure of meeting Diego twice and we email sometimes, he is such a fucking awesome guy!
