‘Dark Days’ are among us!

Metal Hammer Incoming! and Visible Noise – the people who brought you the Subverse all-agers events – are teaming up for Dark Days, a two-room one-day mini-festival on April 11 at London’s Islington Academy.

Dark Days will showcase the best new and emerging bands from all over the globe, run from 2pm to 10pm and will be open to all ages. Around 14 bands will play across the two rooms and the event will include stalls, games and interactive stuff.

Dark Days will bring the best of the independent UK and US bands, including Your Demise and Ghost Of A Thousand – established and emerging. All bands and special headliners will be announced in the coming months. We are also giving your band the chance to open the event: just send us a link to your MySpace with all your contact details.

Originally created to accommodate some underage fans who were too young to get into a Lostprophets show, Subverse became an institution among London’s youth. At it’s home at Camden Underworld it saw sets from bands who went on to great success including Gallows, Funeral For A Friend, Bullet For My Valentine, and Bring Me The Horizon to name but a few.

Stay tuned to ‘Hammer to see who’s playing Dark Days!
