Iron Maiden & Rammstein For Sonisphere 2010!
Plenty of more kick ass names for next year’s bash, incredible offers aplenty and it’s a three day festival this year too! Could the big four be set to rage at Sonisphere Knebworth?
Iron Maiden and Rammstein have been confirmed as headliners of next year’s Sonisphere festival! Also on the bill will be Slayer, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Anthrax, The Cult and Iggy & the Stooges! Excited? You bet your ass we are!
It’s also been revealed that this year’s bash will be a 3 day event to take place on July 30th, 31st and August 1st. The music will start at 6pm on the Friday evening across three stages with Alice Cooper headlining the Saturn stage on that very evening.
And this is probably the best news of all:
The first few thousand people who pay in full for weekend and camping tickets will get a ticket to Sonisphere Poland (to be headlined by Metallica) completely free of charge! with both download and sonisphere and so many acts playing nowadays there’s bound to be alot of bands reappearing often.
bloodstock wont be affected really… its a lot more extreme than the soni and dl… In some ways it helps to brng over the bigger extreme metal bands as Uk seems to have an ever-increasing metal scene.

I was about to buy a weekend ticket off ticketmaster.co.uk and it said

Everyone who was at Sonisphere this year knows its the way forward, the atmosphere, the bands, the set up its all a hundred times better than download. And i find it funny that The Crue are playing Sonisphere next year i think they have had enougth of download this the are always getting but on another stage instead of the main stage where they belong

It seems a big gap from the start of the tour as it looks like poland on the 17th of june will be the first date of the tour i think this may just be so they can have maiden for more of the dates as they have said the tour was to start for the new album in August nxt year
