Maybe we should make it race instead. A race of Metal brethren who all have one thing in common; a love of metal, black, death, hardcore, doom, whatever your preferred sub-genre might be. But all that matters is that we’re a race of brothers and sisters, united for the cause of Heavy Metal. Better than this religion business, I suppose it’s a bit late now though.

As an Atheist there are few things in this world i dislike more than religion so to turn one of things i like most into a religion actually annoys me.

Also as the guy said above why only put two religions on the back? If your gonna start pissing off religious people you might as well go for them all…

I think it is sad because we should be moving away from legitimising tany form of religion as something worth following. ‘Metal’ is not some belief system it is just a type of music – great music but that’s it. Why do rational thinkers want to put themselves in a group with people who believe in mythical beings. And of course some metal guys believe in god and can believe in satan because you can’t believe in one without the other – I believe in neither because they are totally ridiculous

Im a christian and i think its cool. Just because you wear something that is “satanic” doesn’t mean that you are. I mean Tom Araya is a roman catholic and shouts hail satan in some slayer songs. Its a joke, jedis did it on the 2001 census and were taking it one step further. Hellyeah!
