Slayer are a good band but do u guys really have to rape this band? There not greatest band in the world, Reign in Blood isnt the best thrash album. Give it a rest. There good but not as good as you make them out to be.

Reign in blood is a landmark metal album and after that, Slayer deserve to be the most overtalked about. I agree that theres loads more ‘good’ metal artists out there, but none come as close to scraping metal with Slayer.

I disagree with Kris Dobo. Slayer is fucking legendary. And although Reign in Blood isn’t the best, it still goes down as one of the greatest thrash metal albums. Seasons in the Abyss, from my opinion is the fucking sickest album, Slayer has ever fucking cooked up.

Hate to be rude but who wouldn’t disagree with kris i would rather pay metal hammer to put slayer on the cover of every fucking issue until the end of time than do one more bullshit story on how disturbed and lacuna coil are taking the metal world by storm with their next tour. at least slayer are and always have been playing music that pushes the boundaries of technicallity and is full of meaning not like a huge percentage of the shit fucking bands that can disgrace the name of heavy metal on a monthly basis (not naming anyone cos who has all day to read this diatribe anyways?) so there kris. go buy kerrang next time and stop bothering the real metal fans with silly remarks
