What about Glitter with Mariah Carey? Most def. the scariest movie ever made.

More to the point, what about Gary Glitter?

People still need to be warned about this man.

Chris Ward

All old-school shockers. Classy.

Rob where is Friday the 13th in youre list and halloween.

exorcist is fucking terrible

Laimonas

Wth that lame emo pop singer is saying about Judas Priest!? I have more metal in my pinky finger than that shit bag.

BlakNo1

At least these are good movies and not slasher flicks.

Glad he didn’t list any shit like the Saw or Hostel movies. Not horror, just gore for the sake of it.

the shining i wouldnt say is scary, the exorcist the 1970 s orginal scares shit outta me

Skullcrusher666

Brain Damage, that was a good one. =)

Salem’s Lot movie in 1979 (Stephen King’s ‘75 Novel) is another one that i suggest to you all to take a look at..starring original Starsky & Hutch’s David Soul and also a veteran actor James Mason which by the way the movie was inspired by R.Halford #3..Nosferatu..
we can go on-and-on about debating the scariest movies but Rob pretty much has a close accurate list in there..ie.: Carrie (original), Dracula (1931 with Bela Lugosi), The Omen (‘76) and also believe it or not Creepshow (‘82)…etc..
peace

Just for the sake of being picky, it’s actually “The Giant Gila Monster”

Rob Halford FTW, nail Gerard Way to a fucking cross

gerard way needs to watch what he says. as it is, most metalheads i know think him and his whiny emo outfit are awful, but to say that Rob Halford of all people isn’t metal is just beyond stupidity. Sure, Judas Priest may not be the heaviest band around at the moment, but in the grand scheme of things priest definitely rank alongside the likes of Sabbath and Maiden. Gerard Way is a pop-pandering pussy from a band that is an insult to alternative music. Halford is about as fuckin metal as ya can get.

no zombie movies :(

Oh come on people.
Metalhammer, you’re making SUCH a big deal. Every fan can choose what genre they think their music is, the only important thing is, that they listen to it for fucks sake!

Cradle of Filth don’t even choose a genre! Hard Funk it was last time I heard, you idiots!
MCR are not as bad as you think, losers.

I listen to fucking Slayer, Gorgoroth, Mayhem,
And MCR for me casually slides into my listening. You’re all fucking Queen fans aren’t you?

Losers, get rid of bloodwars for sake of it.

Matt Fern

(Cont.)

Metalhammer put a FUCKING REVIEW ON THE FRONT OF THEIR DEBUT ALBUM, saying something like “Is this the best debut album ever?”
So there is no escaping that one, dickheads.

I mean, for fucks sake, the black and death metal section “subteranea” is literally, 5 pages big. And you have, the lamest interviewers. Ever.

Don’t try and alienate your readers for two reasons fuckheads:

1) If all your “fans of the mag” who like MCR stop buying, you’ll be in the gutter and broke.
Giving handjobs to fucking Metro Station.
Thats how “pussy” your magazine is.

2) You support Sophie, but looking at some of the emo bashing on this site, ironically, its the worst site for it. Fucking Ever.

Sounds like someone found out this year that there was no Santa…

@ Matt fern, you mean if you stop buying the mag nothing will happen? I’m not a Queen fan, go die.

Matt Fern

I found out that your mom won’t swallow.

Ha wow look how angry this Matt Fern guy is, I’d tell you to chill out but then there’d probably be another 30 line space-wasting rebuttal rant. Maybe he’s just got sand in his vagina…..

Aye, this Matt Fern guy is a real contender for “biggest waste of his parent’s genepool” and would probably win it too…

If you have an issue with Metal Hammer, contact them properly, chances are that they dont even read the replies to these and especially not replies that are nothing to do with the original topic (horror movies)

As for the Emo bashing? It has nothing to do with S.O.P.H.I.E you moron, MH has a dislike for Emo as a genre and what it did to the industry, it is not promoting violent action against “emos” so go grow up.

Matt Fern is obviously on his period haha! WAA WAA THE DEATH AND BLACK METULZ IS 5 PAGES…..and? Oh right, I forgot, it’s you purist mother fuckers that like to narrow Metal down to just a few subgenre’s. As for the “Metalhead” who said he listens to MCR occasionally and insults Queen, FUCK YOU, Queen are legendary, MCR are for 12 year olds who think they need their lives saved.

Oh wait, it is Matt Fern who listens to MCR hahaha! Oh dear. GO LISTEN TO KERRANG

though angry, matt raises some valid points. it doesn’t really matter what genre gerard way thinks judas priest are, nor does that relate in any way to the quality of either band’s music

if MCR fans want to read about the band, metal hammer magazine probably isn’t the best place because MCR aren’t widely considered to be metal.

If matt listens to MCR maybe he should listen to Kerrang because he would probably enjoy the music on there. he also listens to cradle of filth and other such bands, who receive coverage in metal hammer, so he should read MH as well.

people can listen to more than one type of music you know

MH described MCR debut as
“A hard-hitting punk rock explosion- incredible”

source: http://www.squidoo.com/my-chemical-romance

and the second as

“Exciting and exhilarating… truly justifys the hype”
