i agree some of those bands are just… terrible. But this aint the heavy metal hall of fame, its the “rock n roll” hall of fame. That term “rock n roll” may be used loosely lol. (very loosely)

The Hollies are long over-due. Even without Graham Nash they continued to be incredibley successful and creative. I am stunned that Laura Nyro was actually nominated. She is one of the most important writers of the Rock N Roll era and was quite a performer in her own right. She passed away in 1997 and has not been on the radar.

KISS-its about freakin time-I’ve been a fan since I was six and play guitar because of Ace Frehley. I love the fact that the original members are on the ballet. I swear if Gene and Paul do not include them in the induction if they make it will lose over half of their fan base and will deserve to do so. The original band brought KISS back to the masses in 1996 and that is the lineup that deserves to be in the hall. I still belive that the RNR Hall of Fame is a joke.

Only competition for Kiss will be The Stooges and the Hollies.
Chilis haven’t released anything decent since the 90’s even though they are still making records and continue to suck live while Kiss and the 2 contenders haven’t released crap for the sake of it.
