There’s me going through a bit dissapointed that there was no Tuomas and then I come to August and there he is! In August for my birthday <3 And Apocalyptica and Alexi. Not bad.

A Metal Maidens calendar… you mean like the one in last issue?

What I like best about this calendar is how there are two pictures clearly demonstrating that wearing a polo neck jumper of tattoos definately doesn’t look make you look anything like a twat at all.

Here’s an idea Hammer, maybe next time you print these you could do two versions, Maidens and Studs and label the packet with which one’s in there? Just an idea. Or you could do a HMV or Tesco exclusive in the next issue and actually give the calendar in proper form?

I completely agree with Qmeister. I don’t have a printer, far less a colour one,and I can assure you that you have a large female metal readership who would like to feel less of an afterthought. Please next year give us a proper calendar! Preferably with no Oli Sykes and Satyr of Satyricon and Pete Steele of Type O Negative in instead? And Bruce Dickinson (as he’s just fucking amazing?)? Well done on Ville, Apocalyptica and Tuomas though

It got better as it went along, but… Oli Sykes? And that bloke from Suicide Silence? There are plenty enough hot hunks in metal that you don’t need to stick in skinny wierdly tattooed losers!

I agree the guy from suicide silence is far from easy on the eye! and as claire has said there are loads of metal maidens who would apreciate having a printed version and not feel a tad left out…and next year more metal men!

Trust me, I would not have Oli Sykes on the calendar but each to their own. BMTH just ain’t my cup of Earl Grey.

I’d add Rob Halford which is an odd choice taking everything into consideration but who actually invented the whole leather and studs combo look? And plus, as far as I’m concerned, he can do no bloody wrong

Nice idea, but slightly too late. I agree with Claire, this feels like an afterthought.

Next year, how about polling for who the ladies would like to see included? I’d personally like to see more lovely hairy men in here, and fewer pretty boys.

i’m not so sure whats wrong with everybody else here….its a calender and you didn’t make it yourself. so shut up and deal with it. i admit that sure it didn’t have everyone i wanted but still matt and ville made me smile. plus its free!! so thank you MH! i will enjoy writing out my schedual while looking at some awesome musicians!
