Lamb Of God Talk ‘Wrath’ Tour!
Lamb Of God have said that the ‘Wrath’ tour will be going throughout 2010. There’ll be no excuse for not adding UK dates then, lads.
Chris Adler has offered the following update on Lamb Of God’s ‘Wrath’ tour:
“This tour has taken us to several new spots around the globe and it has been incredible to find dedicated fans that have been waiting so long for us to arrive.
“It’s been an honor to share the stage with Metallica and get to know them and their crew. They set an inspiring example from the show to how they treat the people around them and we have taken many a note. We have been welcomed as a band, as friends and as drinking buddies from the start. To be on a seven-week run that plays to no less than 10,000 people a night has been surreal.
“I can tell you first hand that it’s not easy to open up for Metallica. If you don’t have your ‘A’ game on every night, you could end up in trouble! Fortunately, we’ve been around the block a few times and handled it well, held our own and gained a lot of new fans. It’s been an incredible opportunity.
“As this seven-week trek (came) to an end, we (were) excited to go home, but also very happy about how things have gone for us (in Europe). We have seen a considerable positive change in the interest and fan base of the band with the new album, ‘Wrath’, and the help of our new international label, Roadrunner. We couldn’t be happier about that and look forward to returning and continuing to find more corners of the globe to infect.
“We will be home for about six weeks before we head out again with Metallica across the U.S. and Canada for nine weeks, beginning in Nashville in mid-September. We played the West Coast in late ‘08 with them for a month, but this time we’re heading everywhere. We’ve got some killer headlining shows planned along the way and since we just hit most of the major markets on the ‘Wrath’ tour in the spring, we will be digging into many of the smaller cities around the U.S.
“Once we wrap up the U.S./Canada run, we head back to Australia and New Zealand in December, and that’s just the beginning. The ‘Wrath’ world tour will weave its way throughout 2010 and possibly beyond. We’ve got opportunities coming in to visit new places such as South Africa, Israel, South America, the Philippines and Russia and the list seems to get longer instead of shorter. That’s a great problem to have.
“We are very fortunate and I can’t wait to get out there and kick some ass. Hope to see you along the way.”
In other Lamb Of God news, Doc Coyle will be filling in for Mark Morton on their upcoming US tour, you can check out this hilarious smooth jazz version of ‘Set To Fail’.

I hope they come to southern Spain
Easily the most overated metal band of recent times. Repetitive and dull, bar a few tunes such as Laid to Rest, Ruin and Redneck. They were boring as hell at Sonisphere
devildrivers new album easily kicks wraths arse!
Finally!!! Fair fucking play to you Leechmaster, about time it was said. I agree 100%, Very overated band. Seen them in 06 with Slayer and wasn’t overly impressed with them at all.
Come over here with Devildriver and I will worship you for the rest of my life (of course, I already do)
They’re a good band but I don’t get the hype about wrath, it’s distinctly average, As The Palaces Burn is easily their best album
well, personally i can’t wait. hope they bring some kick ass support too.. gojira anyone?
Please do come to South Africa
Diablo, I saw them with Slayer too in 06 at Brixton and after they played Ruin every other some was boring! Metal Hammer need to stop banging on about em, they’ve got a big enough following now so give more hype to more up n coming bands that need the help
Fred, if they brough Gojira I would pay just to see them! Then sit in the bar for LOG. They can play smooth jazz versions and I can sip on a martini…
Chris addler said at sonisphere that they’d be back in febuary
Well,I like them If you don’t ,fair enough.Your loss?
