Speaking about opening for Metallica on their recent US tour, Lamb Of God have revealed that they are not intimidated by playing with any band.

In an exclusive interview in this month’s Metal Hammer magazine, we spoke to Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe and Chris Adler about their new album Wrath, the shocking meaning behind Contractor and the band’s stint as support for Metallica.

Were you intimidated?

Randy Blythe: “I wasn’t. There’s not a band on Earth that intimidates me.”
Chris Adler: “From our very first tour with GWAR, through the Slayer years with Metallica to Megadeth, we’ve been asked that question almost every time. When we get up on stage that’s our stage, that’s our time, and we’re gonna kick some ass. I feel bad for bands that go on after us because every night we’re going to give 110 per cent.”

For Your Malice

Saw them at Sheffield last night –

no band can touch them.

Man what a gig that was!!! The roof and walls were dripping with sweat.Think that will be the last time we will see them in such a small venue.New album WRATH is gonna be my album of the year it is just so brutal!

To right there not intimidated, why should they be excludin the naive metal fans who simply follow metallica and how great they are. Lamb of god are the new craze and so they should be i saw them at manchester on friday the 13th and they pissed all over everyone else who played that night, best gig ive ever been to.

Saw em in Glasgow on Sunday, they fucking tore the place apart, nobody can touch them on that form.

For Your Malice

they have an air about them at the moment.

was at defenders on friday as well and i didnt even bother with the other bands.

i was just waiting for Lamb.

pits were also immense, but right with you Tosh, Sheffield was something very special.

at the end i thought id just come out of the shower!

i could see steam/sweat rising into the roof, it was truly awesome, like some kind of scene from an alien film…
