Limp Bizkit Confirmed For Sonisphere

After their triumphant set at this year’s Download festival, Limp Bizkit have been added to the bill of this years Sonisphere festival. The band will play on August 2nd, the same day as Metallica and NIN.
Not to take our giant wooden spoon and stir any past shit up but this will also see Durst’s reunited men going head-to-head against former arch nemesis Trent Reznor. The track Hot Dog was in the Bizkit setlist at Donington and contains these lyrics:
“Like a fucked up punk
With a fucked up mouth
Like a nine inch nail
Who’ll get knocked the fuck out”
“You wanna fuck me like an animal
You’d like to burn me on the inside

In a statement, Fred Durst has said: “We are honoured to be a part of such an event as Knebworth and even more excited to be returning to England so soon. [The] UK rocks hard!!”
Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Heaven & Hell, Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Corey Taylor and Killing Joke.

Nine Inch Nails can fuck off they’re the most boring fucking band man. I couldn’t give a shit if they’re playing Sonisphere they could play my local and I wouldn’t be arsed about them. Limp Bizkit fucking rule and if they pull out a set anything like Download then I’ll be happy. NIN can waltz onstage and bleat out their mundane bollocks for as long as they want and they won’t even be a patch on Limp. Let’s hope Machine Head and Bizkit do a tour together sometime soon and I’ll be very fucking happy.

Who cares at the end of the day? I’m not a fan of Limp Bizkit but I don’t see the point in trying to draw a line in the sand and asking people to take sides. It’s not like it’s football where you have to show your un-dying devotion to one team and one team only. If people dig NIN and also Limp, well, good on them. If people are going to spend a wad of cash on ticket for a gig then I hope all the bands play a good show, regardless of who it is. Give it a rest, MH.

limp bizkit was one of the best acts at download,NIN is goin to look crap when they come on after bizkit,nothing against NIN but the energy bizkit gives out is unreal really good live band,
Moosh Yea they must have a lot of talent to bring out Meteora a 30 minute album!!! There like the most overrated band in my book!!! Nine Inch Nails blows anything they have done away. I can’t even believe LP is even a headliner.
