Limp Bizkit To Announce New Album Title Imminently

limp_90Fred Durst has some choice words for ‘the haters’ too. Nothing for the lovers or people that don’t give a fuck, though.

Fred Durst has revealed that a title has been set for the brand new Limp Bizkit album. Speaking on his Twitter, Durst says: “We officially have the title for the new Limp Bizkit album. Stay tuned for more details.” He’d probably have given us more details but it’s hard to fit that much info into 140 characters.

Durst did make time to throw a little coal onto the fire by saying: “I wonder how many “cool” people will be pleasantly displeased by the new Limp Bizkit album. Hopefully, most of them. It’s cool to be a hater.”

A new Limp Bizkit album will be released in 2010.

Yer announcing an announcement for an announcement of just an album title seems a bit keen. Maybe MH are just excited.
Hopefully this album will be ace and kick all the shit emo/fall out boy wannabe pop/rock stars in the face.

that is possible

I can’t wait for the new album. Fred fuels off the hatred, if the hate went away so would Limp Bizkit.

Jay is right! Limp bizkit rock! cant wiat for this album! Durst is a living legend!

Love them or Hate them you cannot deny that Limp Bizkit did blow up huge back in the day. Granted the last couple albums that came after Chocolate Starfish were shoddy, but as a DJ in a Metal/Rock club I can tell you Limp Bizkit still gets a huge reaction from the crowd and this from People who love Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Cannibal Corpse. I am looking forward to hear what the new album sounds like before I make a decision.

Plus I enjoyed them at Download

Will be interesting. Could go either way. Many bands have disappeared and reappeared to release their best stuff, also a load of shit mind you. Will always remember the days at sixth form when 3 dollar…. came out and my tutor thought it was so strange that she let us play it in our tutor room at lunch as she was intregued by it. And i know most people dont care, but did anyone here hear the unquestionable truth? Heavy as fuck! If they had released it instead of the abominable starfish, they would have done themselves a lot of credit.

Fair enough Felix!

Looking forward to it. Yes, you read that right

GOLD COBRA is the new name of the new album.

According to Kerrang! magazine, LIMP BIZKIT has set “Gold Cobra” as the title of the band’s first new studio album with the original lineup since 2000’s “Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water”, due in early 2010 through Interscope/Polydor. “We will slowly be revealing the meaning of the title over the next few weeks,” frontman Fred Durst told the magazine. “Cobras are quite venomous. I wish it were a much longer, more ridiculous title, but ‘Gold Cobra’ is as ridiculous as we’re going to get right now.”

Can’t wait!
I hope they get it out before the festivals kick off!

you know what i think fred durst needs? some good old jazz, like sun ra or ornette coleman. when faced with true expression, valid and exciting, in a song, his face would corrode and limp bizkit would go away.
