Awesome. They might not be the best band in the world but they are very fun to listen to if you don’t take them seriously and I would definitely love to see them again. They rocked at Sonisphere. I can’t see them doing Download or Sonisphere two years in a row, though, and I really couldn’t see them headlining. It’s most likely Reading/Leeds.

theyv had a fair share of album sales over the years and were bloody good at download even though personally id prefer a different headliner but would still se them none the less

no they are not capable of headlining or even sub headlining, they are a good band but only deserve hour slots to bring in some other fans to festivals, headlining and sud headlining should be left to bigger boys

Meh. You can all slate them and see them as a nostalgia act etc. but they are a great band who put on a hell of a show. I saw them at their HMV Forum show before they played Sonisphere and it was great, they draw all sorts of crowds and still have amazing energy. They’ve got the songs to headline too, I doubt they will but we’ll see.

They could well be doing T in the Park also. Remember its ned-city there too

while i agree with most people that Fred Durst is a big knob, i am still looking forward to their new album for the mere fact that Wes Borland (who is a masterful musician as you can see in his Black Light Burns project) is gonna over shadow Fred with his guitar skills. i grew up listening to this band and if it wasnt for listening to bands like this or Linkin Park, i wouldnt like the bands i do now like Aborted, Soulfly or even Metallica. im sure the album will be alot better than their last album and EP.

If Stinkin Pop can headline Sonisphere then Limp Bizkit certainly can.

They were awesome at download it took me back to my teenage years and it would be great if they headlined next year. I’m feckin sick of the shit music thats bein churned over the past few years all that fuckin emo girly shit. If you wanna listen to music thats all moody and whining shite get tae. Bizkit rule!!

FAH Q, no one was more excited than us when Bizkit were announced for Download this year.

Metal Hammer has always done that, they big up bands when there popular but once people are bored of them they say there shit and always were, that why i stopped buying the magazine.

I would like to see a band who have worked solily over the years to get to where they are today headline a festival like slipknot did last year took them ten years to get there.

Admitedly Limp Wristed were reasonably big in there day but they split up for a few years so i think they should have to show they can still bring the crowds by doing there own tour and showing that there record sales are good for new material before there handed a headling festival slot.

@Caren: The magazines seemed to disagree… last time I checked there wasn’t anything positive about them being at Download until after they played. I mean, they weren’t exactly “I’m going to kill myself, this is a fucking tragedy” comments like on here, but it didn’t sound like anyone was looking forward to it.

the only thing they should headline is fred durst’s own execution! to be fair borland is a decent guitarist but any band with a dj and a shite middle aged rapper acting like an angry 12 year old should be pissed on from a great height!

oh my god i love Limp bizkit i agree with caren hammer mentioned limp bizkit mentioned the bizkit every week leading up to download. Limp bizkit are amazing and they r going to own the 2010 festival circuit.

What the hell if u hate limp bizkit then u hate heavy metal. They are one of the best bands going and deserve a medal. Durst is one of the best singers out there and wez borland is an amazing guitarist.

As long as its not a festival im going to. Bands like Limp Bizkit always bring the douche crowd.
