I got goosebumps just watching the Head Like a Hole video. NIN are a much better band IMO, though I’m looking forward to seeing both, and don’t want to hear any shit from either of the bands if it’s just gonna petty bitching.

Although I’m not really a fan, I respect Trent Reznor and am intrigued by the prospect of seeing NIN live. Couldn’t give a crap about Limp Bizkit. Will probably go for a whizz and grab a hot dog while they’re on.

Limp Bizkit’s greatest asset right now is the subteraneanly low expectations people have when seeing them at a festival. Conversely Trents problem is that people have built NIN up to such a point based on the albums that he has to do an amazing show to compete with his own reputation and recorded material. These days Limp Bizkit will better most peoples expectations just by showing up and not being complete dicks. That is all.

I was very suprised by Limp Bizket and very pleasently so. I thought they would be fun for shits and giggles as a nostalgia act but they actualy played a storming set.

That said, FNM and Slipknot were; for me at least, the highlights. Honorable mentions to Down, Devildriver and ZZ Top too.

No matter how much you hate Limp Bizkit, they put on one AMAZING show and you cannot deny that. A friend of mine, who likes nothing but black metal, saw Limp at Rock Am Ring and loves the band now. I’ve seen so many bands live, Megadeth – Metallica – Slipknot – Rage Against the Machine – Slayer – Exodus, and many more – but NONE of them have topped Limp Bizkit AT ALL…and I love Megadeth a whole lot more than LB. Just sayin…

Limp bizkit are beter live performers NIN dont offer you anything live you couldnt get from listenin to their CD. Fred Durst is back on form and Wes is just mental live and they all have unlimited energy on stage…Limp Bizkit have won this argument but linkin park will be the toughest to top live
