Actually their last album got to number 1 already so it won’t be their first.

The new You Me At Six wasn’t that bad…
Lostprophets need this number one album to take them to the next level, and I need to buy it ASAP.

You Me At Six are just plain shit!

New You Me At Six is miiiiiiiiiiiles better than the new Lostprophets shite! It’s indie/pop with only a hint of rock and some terrible “shouty” vocals. Start Something was a top album but after that they’ll gone downhill. Plus You Me At Six are a nice bunch of lads whereas Lostprophets used to be nice lads but are now just a bunch of arseholes who are too far up their own arses to releasing they keep releasing shit.

Some people on here are ridiculous. I know it’s METALHammer..but that doesn’t mean you can’t voice your own opinions on articles. I love metal. I’m going to see The Black Dahlia Murder at Bonecrusher fest on 5th of Feb and You Me At Six 3 days later. Just because Lostprophets ‘aren’t’ metal, doesn’t mean you can’t like them. I’m enjoying The Betrayed..ok so it’s nothing like their best album (Start Something). But it’s better than Liberation Transmission..which was good. I think it may even beat Fake Sound of Progress. So c’mon..who do you want at no. 1…Lostprophets..or Justin Bieber?

lostprophets barely deserved a mention when they first started, now they are even more of a plastic pop group. thought i was on kerrang’s website for a moment then!

Their appearance on this web site is almost as bad as their appearance as headliners at Download. Get back to writing about a real metal band. NOW

I really hope they don’t get to number one. Like a few people have already said, they are far from metal. They are such sellouts now.

The new You Me At Six was perfectly inoffensive!
The new Lostprophets album is actually rather good with some quite metallic numbers on it.

I think the main problem with this article is the childish little dig made by the “journalist” for no reason at all other than his personal dislike of another band in the charts. Why not slate the rest of the top 10 too?

while i agree this is a metal mag, its nice to see MH supporting british metal bands no matter how bland they ave become. and none of you can say you dont like the odd song that appears by a rock/pop/punk/dance band, The Prodigy are a good example of their metal head fan base even though they are a rave/dance band. so stop being so pathetic and hypocritical.

the new album is ok. i need a few more listens before i decide to buy a copy. its a deffinate improvement on the last album. but Fake Sound is still their best record by miles and their only metal album.

Well they’re not metal so they have more of a chance of getting to number 1 than the other bands you listed. Face it, metal will never be widely accepted.
