Last week we had this great one from Sarah and Gareth, who said: “Thanks for letting us have so much fun in making this photo. The night was bloody cold, the beer free-flowing and our Maiden slightly grumpy. So here it is, in all its quiet-village-axe-weilding-neighbour-scaring-police-questioning glory. PS: Must remember axe-weilding is ‘not an approved public action’, and that ‘Iron Maiden is not good reasoning to do so’…’ Asif!”

Personally, I think the dance of death one is terrrible.
I’m curious to know exactly why you think it’s terrible, Mitchell? Based on the criteria of accuracy, effort and fun it looks to score pretty highly to me. Granted, the composition is rather dull, the costume design ( *cough* ) isn’t particularly interesting and the compositing of the various elements could be better, but those are faults in the original cack smear of a cover so hardly something you’d expect to see resolved in an image which seeks to emulate it. Unless your comment was directed at the original of course, in which case I heartily concur with your sentiment.
