Good for Mastodon. Great band, stunning back catalogue and Crack The Skye is a masterpiece- they deserve that kind of exposure and shed loads of record sales.

And it turns out Letterman is as scared of Brent Hinds as everyone else.

Hmm, they really don’t sound up to their best on that vid…
Which is a shame ‘cos they deserve a shot at that kind of exposure!

Well, I liked what I heard so that means ‘Crack The Skye’ gets its day in court with me.

king of heavy metal

best album this year by far

ROFL he introduces them as a rock ‘n’ roll band!

the bassist should’ve kept his fucking gob shut – would’ve done them all a great big favour

Can’t help it- Leviathan was good saw them at Unholy Alliance and they were good. Bought Crack the Skye without listening to it, trusting it would be good, and it sounds like slightly heavy ‘Yes’. Anyone want a free copy?
