Max Cavalera Speaks Out On New Soulfly Album And Cavalera Conspiracy Plans
Max Cavalera confirms that Soulfly will begin recording a new album in November.
Max Cavalera recently conducted an interview with Fangoria. Speaking about a new Soulfly record, Cavalera said: “Right now we’re just getting some of the ideas together with some of the songs I composed while on tour over the past two years. We’ve got bits and pieces, lot’s of riffs and things, but we’ll begin seriously working on it at the beginning of November when we get off the road. We’ll get right into the studio and start recording.”
He also had the following to say about the future of the Cavalera Conspiracy: “I don’t have any plans right now, but maybe later on. I did some shows with that and they were awesome. We did some shows in Europe and Japan with really great crowd reaction. They were really into the album and they know it a lot more now. The way the Cavalera operates is that we do some shows here and there — not often but for special occasions. We like to keep it like that, and it’s cool to get together with Igor for awhile and then get right back to Soulfly.”
