Megadeth Reveal More About New Album
We brought you the title yesterday and now Mustaine and his crew announce track titles and talk about the record and its themes.
Megadeth have offered the following update on their new record: “Thematically, I’ve never been known to be a silent bystander in a world that needs our participation. As more is revealed about our former President’s legacy, a little-known yet staggeringly frightening document which was signed into law, named ‘ENDGAME,’ has been uncovered. The album ‘ENDGAME’ is the most energetic music offering I have penned in over a decade and is far more believable than knowing someone signed ‘ENDGAME’ -the document- into law. The album is also the perfect ‘ass- kicking’ music to listen to once you are done reading the aforementioned document!”
A handful of track titles have also been revealed for the effort, they include:
“Headcrusher”
“1,320″
“How The Story Ends”
“This Day We Fight!”
Mustaine also confirmed that the band will be playing ‘Headcrucher’ from ‘Endgame’ on the band’s forthcoming Canadian run with Slayer.

Megadeth is showing what most of us knew all along, they are the gods of Thrash Metal. Dave is realizing that getting thrown out of Metallica was a blesssing. Its taken a long time, but I’m so happy to see him doing so well.
I woudln’t mind seeing them again. Saw them at Download ‘07 and at Priest Feast. Sound was terrible at Priest Feast though, my boyfriend shouted at them to turn the guitars up, and they listened. Everyone listened.

Very curious about the meaning behind the title “1,320″, anyone got any ideas?
Eamzo – when was the last time they played in Northen Ireland? I know it’s been years and years but is everything cool after that whole IRA/Anarchy In The UK debacle?
^it is the length of a drag race track meassured in feet. mustaine has mentioned this in an earlier interview, and he has written the song because he is an avid extreme sport fan and that includes dragracing.
Did they not support the ‘Priest when they played there?
An epic title indeed for what should be an epic album indeed!!
Skumbo, Mustaine stated in an interview a few months ago that 1,320 refers to the length of a standard NASCAR race-track.
These guys rock, can’t wait to hear the album… the short clip for Headcrusher on youtube looks promising
