Hasn’t there already been a feature on Welcome to My Nightmare? Come on Hammer, you’re starting to repeat yourself: you did Joe Perry’s life story last month when you’d already done it a few years ago!
why is the issue nearly a week late for subscribers?
is it just me or have hammer not done a tribute to paul grey?
@ danny i know its pissing me off as i was at golden god and wanted a keep sake from the magazine. (Apart from the t-shirt and the hangover i suffered the next morning that is!)
FFS yourself.. Bullet are ok, I like them.. Yeah ok they aint a patch on Soulfly or Maiden but imo a definitely not shit.. On this very site when reviewing download festival the reviewer made the comment that they are the best band from the UK since Maiden.. His words not mine and to miss them at your peril.. Yeah they are borderline emo and yes emo is completely shit but Bullet are a good band and I can’t be the only one to think so.. And on the subject of tributes yeah its always sad to lose a fellow defender especially when they are a complete legend and hero like Ronnie.. His life should be celebrated and death mourned.. As for Paul Grey yeah he was a legend too but Ronnie faced a far more difficult challenge and it is so sad he lost.. We don’t know the full extent of what exactly happened to Paul but he thought too much of the Maggots for his death to have been anything other than accidental.. So both should be celebrated..
celebrate their lives.. Obviously NOT their deaths.. Metalheads globally mourn both losses even if like me in life they weren’t my favourite performers both legacies are beyond doubt..

i take it all back Hammer, the issue kicks ass! awesome haul on extra goodies, and the new layout is pretty fucking classy!
seriously, only been reading for just over a year, but this is my favourite issue so far by a long shot. 2 essential CD’s, awesome Maiden poster and badge and fantastically written articles including one on MELVINS?! Fucking yes!
Mine just arrived today- glad to see appreciation of Ackercocke on page 13. Nergal’s court case has been dismissed- where there is faith there is always hope!!!!

I like the new look Hammers got and hope C*nt of the Month makes a return next issue. So many folks nowadays deserve a good slagging…
my favourite issue was probably the megadeth september 09 one. although any interview written by do lawson i look out for. They’re all good but i connect with his tastes and attitude the most out of all the writers, milas being the second.
