What do you get when you cross a heavy metal band with a monkey?
A study from The Guardian has shown that Metallica’s ‘Of Wolf And Man’ can be used to calm an incensed monkey. During a recent experiment, monkeys were played Samuel Barber’s ‘Adagio for Strings’, NIN’s ‘The Fragile’, Metallica’s “Of Wolf and Man” and ‘The Grudge’ Tool.
They were then played specially composed monkey music. Hands up if you want to hear what specially composed monkey music sounds like!
Anyways, Metallica’s ‘Of Wolf And Man’ came out king of the swingers as it was the only human song to illicit a calming reaction from the monkeys.

I’m not suprised that heavy metal calms animals down the only thing that cures me of road rage is listening to very loud preferably Lamb of God, Devildriver, Machine Head or Slayerrrrr!!!!aarrrggghhhh……does that mean I’m a monkey?
monkeys got scared of metallica. They then were supposed to be treated by st. anger and death magnetic. So instead, they decided to shutup and listen to something else.
