Yes. Yes, they do.

I was fucking delighted to hear one of my favourite tunes from the new album is now in the setlist.

In fact, with 25,000 people about to see them in London on Saturday, I’d say that each one of them would be interested to know what songs might be in the setlist.

So there.

I’ve also never known them to play Hole In The Sky either. I really wish they’d bin S&D as the last song though, they need something louder, faster and heavier in that slot

I thought the two covers were top quality and great of them to acknowledge the importance of the locality to the early metal scene. Metallica were on top form but a good percentage of the crowd were too busy taking photos to acknowledge half of what was happening. WTF happened to rocking out at a gig??

Obviously the wrong gig mate, when I saw them at the beginning of the month at th O2, i was quite happily stood 6 feet away from one side of the stage, then That Was Just Your Life kicked in and i was immediately ‘transported’ to the complete opposite side. I’ve not seen a Metallica crowd go mad like that for a long time.

Glad to hear it wasn’t like that everywhere. My son said that the other side of the stage had a bit more action. Just a shame we had to travel to Brum from Cardiff – bout time the boys crossed the bridge and played the Mill Stadium.

Looking forward to seeing Metallica tomorrow night at the O2, although like PAHUTCH I’d like them to go to Cardiff as its not so far to travel (would have rather travelled to Brum but work commitments stopped that).

TBH think I am looking forward to seeing Machine Head more than Metallica!

Hate to say it, but I wasn’t impressed with MH at the O2 at the beginning of the month. I’ve seen them about 8 times over the last couple of years and it was the worst i’ve seen them. They just didn’t look comfortable on that stage.
