Monster Magnet Plan Acoustic Tour
Monster Magnet Dave Wyndorf recently admitted that he is contemplating stripping the Monster Magnet sound back to basics for an unplugged tour.The full electric band is set to headline this year’s Hard Rock Hell in December.

Speaking to Pyromusic.net he said: “MONSTER MAGNET is planning a, well, for lack of a better word, unplugged tour featuring songs from the MONSTER MAGNET catalogue that have never before played live. Very psychedelic and very bluesy. Cool instrumentation too -sitar, mellotron, percussion, slide guitars, it sounds fucking awesome!”
Dave also said that he is writing new material and hopes to have anew monster Magnet record out by 2010. He hinted that some of the songs might find their outlet in an as-yet unnamed side project as they were ‘weird’.
We’re hoping the ‘tache sporting guitar wielder makes it to the UK with that one!

Nothin wrong with acoustic tours, I’ve been to some awesome ‘unplugged’ shows in the past.
They will be giving it to us if you go to HRH that is roll on December.
