Limp Bizkit, Trivium and (as we told you last week) Def Leppard and Whitesnake have been added to the bill of this year’s Download festival.

As was confirmed yesterday, Limp Bizkit have reunited with their original line-up and now it’s also been confirmed that they will be part of this year’s Download proceedings. Check Beez’s verdict on the Limp Bizkit reunion.

Whitesnake and Def leppard were originally rumoured to be part of Download on ‘Hammer last week and both band’s were self-confirmed by Coverdale’s outfit yesterday. Check out our 13 reasons why Whitesnake are amazing.

Trivium will also be part of this year’s proceedings, racking up their third Donington appearance.

Prtylvr…You’re favouring Knebworth over Download on the basis of the Limp Bizkit announcement. Have another look at the Sonisphere line-up……

TRIVIUM!!! Fuck yeah! Awesome stuff if you ask me…. Slipknot should play reading this year due to not playing it last year, people that bought sunday tickets or weekend ticks to reading 2008 should be able to go for free!

prtylvr – So your willing to pay £180 (including fees etc.) for 20 bands at Sonisphere when you could pay £180 for 100+ bands covering a wider span of music at Download? If you don’t want to see Limp Bizkit go to one of the other two stages!

Announcements so far for Download have been awesome and far superior to Sonisphere.

Download is certainly shaping to have a very diverse selection of bands.
Im not complaining so far, hahaha, even if Limp Bizkits recent stuff was a load of wank id still love to see them play with Wes back in the band.

How many of us remember hearing Break Stuff and Nookie 10 years ago and can admit to pure loving it?
Hahaha, i was a ‘confused mini-mosher/ned(chav)’ hybrid but listening to stuff like that eventualy got me listening to progressivly heavier stuff like Slayer, Nile and even Emperor!
