More Rumours Surrounding Led Zeppelin Getting A New Vocalist

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has added fuel to the rumour that Led Zeppelin are set to tour in 2009 without their iconic frontman Robert Plant.

Speaking at Mason’s Guitar Show in Exeter this past weekend, Jones was asked about who would be singing for Led Zeppelin if they were to tour in 2009 and he answered “As soon as we know who it is, we’ll let you know who it is.”

Jones also seemed to all but confirm that Led Zeppelin would be touring in the near future and that even if Plant isn’t going to be involved now, he might choose to “in a few years”.

If rumours are to be believed, Led Zeppelin will be replacing Robert Plant with Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy.

Too bad Plant can’t hit those notes anymore. No one can replace him but what about a filler like Lenny Wolf of Kingdom Come. Dude can still sing good to this day. Here’s an old video:

What’s the point in doing a reunion tour without Plant, it’s just lame.

Fair enough if its’ a different name, but why bother… oh yeah, money…. *rolls eyes*.

The only vocalist who could ever substitute for Robert Plant? LEMMY!!!!

im sure thor will be able to do a good job….but they cant charge more then £35 for a ticket if plant isnt thier…i could go see a cover band for zepplin for the same effect if plant isnt thier!

Why not just do another Jimmy Page/Black Crowes tour? Let JP Jones play keys and let Jason Bonham stay home since he’s really not that good.

The Beast

Axl Rose anyone???
