Idk… I’ve seen them at the Civic Hall last year and the year before, and it was pretty much the exact same each time. Hopefully they’ll at least have a new setlist this time.
Awesome news, can’t believe its been 35 years. Get Blaze Bayley as support!!
30th anniversary tour was good! cant see why this one woodnt be. motorhead does exactly what it says on the tin and thats why people love them
I would go, but probably wont just for the fact the ticket price for London is £6.50 more than anywhere else – would love to know the reason why, it’s not like the venue is any more special than the others. crazy stuff!
YES ABERDEEN
gotta go see em this time
because the money gabbing whores i.e. “promotions” companies, booking agents and your general middle men are greedy and want more money. you can bet you bottom dollar(pardon the pun) its not the head who hiked the price. go to brighton instead, its quite near and its just as nice a place to spend the day getting pissed.
Maybe @ Leicester
No Irish dates yet but they normally kick off with a Dublin date so I’m sure this time will be no different – fingers crossed!
Thought there might be a June concert to celebrate the ”actual” anniversary. Ah well…
more expensive in london cos there is a bigger demand.
fucking sweet, can’t wait!
OMFG! Southampton Guildhall im there!
I wouldn’t pay 32.50 for Motorhead. I’d hardly even pay 25. Don’t get me wrong I love Motorhead but their live shows aren’t worth THAT much. Especially if you’ve already seen them once. I guess it’s because of the venues and how big they are, but I really regret paying 28 quid for them last November.
Come to Canada! Last time Motorhead was here they skipped Winnipeg!
No doubt I’ll be on my own but bring it on in Southampton
SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brighton! Motorhead are like the only good band who come back to brighton.
Im There This Time
for fuck sake, play ireland (pref dublin)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bloody Hell – Derby! Thats a turn up for the books, I’m there! (not literally because its not till the end of the year)
Oh and how about the Wildhearts for support?
What no Stoke-on-Trent show
Motorhead usually have good supports. I’ve seen them most years and have seen Girlschool, sepultura, in flames, saxon, wildhearts.
Good news they are playing Derby, I havn’t been there since the good old days of indoors Bloodstock. Gamma Ray, Primal Fear, Nightwish, those were the days.
2 days after my birthday? Happy Fuckin Brithday to me!!!!
motorhead are always ace, but unless its sheffield or nottingham i can’t be arsed!
@Danny
i feel your pain im outraged that no st helens show is on the cards
lol at the ticket price, thats more than slayer. and Destroing Dignity, Derby is very close to nottingham, go to that?
Why are they neglecting Norwich again they haven’t been here for 2 years now.
Overkill told me n my mate thy would b cumin back to the uk as the main support for a big band in november, hope to god thyr the support.
Oh cool, it’s a Motorhead tour in November… that’s something different.
they’re playing aberdeen and not edinburgh? argh
Can’t wait to see them in Sheffield…
good to see em at brighton, may depend on who the support act is if i end up going.
i saw them a few years back and they were amazing!
a quick question a little bit off topic, but im trying to vote for the 2010 golden gods, the page says come back on the 16th? is there a delay in the voting or have i missed the oppritunity or is this happening to everyone? pleas answer!
Second row tickets sorted this morning, time to celebrate 35 fucking years. Awesome can’t wait
@matt i know where derby is! its just i don’t drive and the buses/trains don’t run to my area at night. i’ve seen motorhead 5 times anyway and like someone else said it is a pretty expensive gig
i suppose if one of my mates decided to be the designated driver id stump up the money!
Motorhead are worth every penny, altho they dont change their setlist much,
Now that’s a full, fucking UK tour.
First time they’ve played in Aberdeen since 1983!! Got my ticket today on presale. Mmmm!!
Got my ticket on presale just now. Not happy that with service charges and postage fees i ended up paying an extra £9. How on earth to ticket companies justify charging the same for printing off your own tickets as they do for delivering them to your door?
Also is Manchester an all seated gig or something? I have ordered a standing ticket but on my ticket confirmation underneath where it says “Ticket Category: Standing Ticket” it gives me a seat row and number
They’ve missed Sheffield off for the 2nd tour in a row now!
i’ve got my tickets!!…like a few ppl said, motorhead are well worth the price but the service fee sucks!!
Got my tickets for Brixton Academy now!!!!
Got my tickets for Brixton Academy now!!!!!
Hope they will add a date for Befast. Saw them there in feb and they kicked ass. i wait with baited breath.
Yeah i agree i saw them in Manchester last time and they were brilliant but i’d like to see a different set list and definitely Blaze Bayley or even Anvil as support (or both?
)
They will hit Ireland 1st.
Nice to see they sold out in Aberdeen in one day and the gig has been moved to the 8500 capacity AECC. Now for some juicy support hopefully, anyone heard any rumours?
