Crazy metallers Mudvayne have released information about their up coming album which is not due to surface until Autumn this year.

The band have chosen producer Dave Fortman (Superjoint Ritual, Evanescence) to work on this, their third album, due out on Epic Records.

Fortman (who used to play guitar for Ugly Kid Joe) was chosen by the band for his phenomenal production skills.

“We’ve been extremely fortunate to work with some amazing producers,” said vocalist Chad Gray. “Garth Richardson captured the band’s raw energy on the first record and David Bottrill gave our music a three-dimensional quality on the second record. For this record, we asked Dave Fortman to produce because we wanted someone who can bring both of those elements together into a sound that’s brutal and beautiful.”
