Megadeth frontman and all-round heavy metal legend Dave Mustaine has announced that his new book is to be entitled ‘Hello Me…Meet The Real Me’. It will be published in late 2010 and was co-written by New York Times journalist Larry Layden.
Never one to hold his tongue, this promises to be one of the most explosive books in metal history!

Kerry King told us that a ‘big four’ tour was a possibility for next summer, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine recently spoke out about the rumours on the tour and now Robert Trujillo has confirmed that Metallica are in talks to get a ‘big four’ tour together for next year. I wonder if he’ll mention his pre-Megadeth band. Or is he like Uncle Albert and won’t talk about it? Instead of ‘during the war…’ he could say ‘during the NWOBHM years…”
I agree with Kyle, cool title aside i don’t want to read a 200 page bitchfest about his ordeals w/ metallica. I want to learn something that im not already aware of.

At some point he is going to look back on his life and realise that getting sacked from Metallica was the best thing that ever happened to him. Megadeth and Motorhead are two excellent bands we would never have got had Dave and Lemmy not got sacked.
You’re absolutely right, WRENSTA. I’ve always been a bigger fan of Metallica, but I have huge respect for Megadeth at the same time. These two bands as a whole should never be compared as they are both metal pioneers. If Mr Mustaine started an emo band because of getting fired from Metallica, then it would be a totally different story.
