I agree with what Fraz just said, MCR were the first slightly metallic band I ever liked, now Ive progressed onto the good stuff like Slayer/Iron maiden/Napalm death. If they work as a gateway to better music, then great for them!!

MCR SHOULD NEVER BE ASSOSICATED WITH METAL AND SHOULD NEVER EVEN BE MENTIONED IN METAL HAMMER!!!! I hate them and personally i think they are utter shit. dont understand why you want to listen to them.Dave completely agree with you i wish they had too and the fonz you are completely right i never listened to their early stuff but they just like BMTH (WHO SUCK ><) are just there to attract little teens. and their appearance is utter fail. Also James your completely right. never assosiate them and never mix up.

I liked the album before the black parade, “three cheers” or whatever it was called. i enjoyed the catchiness and the punk elements were great. It came out just before all these bands cashed in on the “emo” success. It was a genuinely good “Rock” album and ill let them off for that one.

The Black Parade however. hahaha. what a load of toss. One of the worst albums iv ever heard. and yes, stupidly i bought it because i enjoyed the one before. What a mistake.

Another band that had abit of potential and flushed it all away just to get in 15yr old girls pants.
