didn’t vertebrae come out last year? good list though:P

the best choiceses so far!!

Yup, Vertebrae did indeed come out last year! Still, it’s My Dying Bride so who cares??? Good list but I would replace Suicide Season with Municipal Waste and Enslaved with Gama Bomb. I likes me thrash!

Enslaved’s Vertebrae is 2008 [and probably my favourite of 2008]

It was voted the top album of ‘08 by Terrorizer.

Still, good album =]

YES
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO PUTS INFECTED NATIONS.

crack the skye is on EVERY list for a reason…i got it today its fucking crazy

Are any of these bands gonna choose anything other than these boring, safe choices such as Megadeth/Heaven and Hell/ Mastodon etc! Jeez there were other records released this year!!

Pretty good list – everyone raves about behemoth, so this has forced me to listen to them more….what I have heard of Evangelion so far is rather good. PL are great of course, Enslaved deserves to be there but it’s older, so that’s cheating…

Hello everyone and happy to be able to contact you!!!

I want to announce you that the third issue of Europe’s Times and Unknown Waters e-magazine (where I’m the chief editor) is on line. It is not a metal e-magazine but we have a metal section where we apply literature and philosophy to our favourite bands…and other metal-related issues.
The present metal section is dedicated to My Dying Bride. We worked about 6 months to construct and polish it so we hope you’ll find interesting things in our pages.

http://www.waterytimes.com/metal.html

The special guest of the present metal section is Aaron Stainthorpe. The cluster of materials numbered 1-9 is dedicated to him:

Searing Myself. The Effects of an Encounter with My Dying Bride – by Bruckner Leon
Eduard
The water symbolism in My Dying Bride music – by Theodora –Eva Stancel

3. Who is The Dark Lady of Aaron’s Sonnets? by Ormeny Francisc

Interview with Aaron Stainthorpe by Ormeny Francisc Norbert & Theodora-Eva Stâncel

THE FALL FOR HER was – THE FALL OF A CENTURY by Ormeny Francisc Norbert [Translated from Romanian by Theodora-Eva Stancel]
]

My Body a Funeral- The Divine Inter-section of the Sinister in the Sinister. by Ormeny Francisc Norbert [Translated from Romanian by Theodora-Eva Stancel]

Materials are both Romanian and English writen so, should you have come across the Romanian variant, don’t be afraid – there is the English variant as well righ above it.
At number 5 (as you can see) you can also read the interview that I conducted with him. Also, in the second group of articles (a-h) you can read materials about Tsatthoggua, Six Feet Under, Marduk, Lake of Tears, Satanochio and Metallica (Marduk and Satanochio are written in English).

Should you find our pages interesting enough, please distribute some links in your country so that a larger community of My Dying Bride fans could get access to the materials AND, should you find our pages “intoxicant” – why not try your talent and write for us a philosophical or literary (or both) surrealistic material about your favourite band.

Thank you and sorry for disturbing you but I hope I brought you interesting information.
Cheers!
Ormeny Francisc

P.S. In our previous issues you can also find some english-written materials about Lake of Tears:

http://www.waterytimes.com/arhiva/nr1/metal.html (the second material after Intellectualizing black metal)
