New Nine Inch Nails Album Ready To Drop!

jamesgill / News / 10/08/2009 15:28pm

trent90Metal Hammer has heard from a reliable source that Nine Inch Nails will release a new album soon…

While at Sonisphere, Hammer was hanging out with a good friend who has been working on the Metallica tour (and so was at Sonisphere with the NIN roadies/techs etc). This insider informed us that there is “a new Nine Inch Nails album, completely finished and ready to go.”

After he confirmed that he will simply put it online when it’s finished, a la ‘The Slip’, he said that while he himself had not heard the album, it was being described as “sprawling, epic, more like ‘The Fragile’.”

hope its better than the sonisphere performace BORING zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

yeah at sonisphere i wouldn’t have minded slower songs but they needed less instrumentals and more upbeat songs like heresy and march of the pigs and head like a hole

its already available on nin.com

oh and your link to nin.com is borked.

New album? God bless Trent’s retirement XD

I would be the happiest person alive if this is true.

king of heavy metal

after sonispheres dreary final ever performance (all slow songs no get the crowd going moments) nin really need to amp up a proper goodbye

fuck all you hoes, youre just some two bit metallica fan boys that can only enjoy music drowned in distortion and wah

i agree with drcool it was an epic set that was amazing

kennerator

fuck you dr cool, i live by metallica and see them as the closet things as gods since im an atheist but Nine Inch Nails is the 3rd band i listen to the most according to Last.fm

hey kennerator ive seen tallica more times than you can count on one hand but seriously its the breed of fans that are into them nowadays that puts me off. and justice is still the best thing since sliced bread.

nin I think need to say goodbye in style and if its going to sound like the fragile?? then brilliant because of the nice mix of calm and heavy in that album while the slip was good it got boring after a while and we need an album that for years to come we can sit down whilst reminiscing about nin we can go at least trent said goodbye with a bang

Reznor disproved you dipshits on the NIN forum. Congratulations…this site is nothing more than a blog now. No discredit to blogs.

“aren’t they breaking up”

No. Where the fuck did you hear this? Metal Hammer? How does a one man band break up? He’s not touring live anymore, that’s it.
