Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction have been added Oxegen Festival bill. Are more dates in our neck of the woods on the horizon?

Nine Inch Nails and the reunited Jane’s Addiction are to head to Ireland for the Oxegen festival and both acts are also expected to be part of the UK’s festival schedule. Download or Sonisphere? We’ll let you make your own mind up.

Justin Green, a spokesperson for the event’s promoter MCD, has commented that the lineup reflected the wishes of fans who have logged on to the Oxegen web site,

“If the reaction from fans is anything to go by, we’re set to be the best year ever with the likes of the Pet Shop Boys and Jane’s Addiction adding to the line-up that have already been announced. Because the fans pick the lineup, this is exactly what they want to see. The reaction has been fantastic.”
