Nine Inch Nails releases instrumental album
The four volume collection of 36 instrumental tracks was recorded over a 10-week period last year. The album will be available independently with nine of the 36 tracks from Ghosts I-IV available as a free download and various download and physical options for sale.
Trent Reznor enlisted Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder with help from Alessandro Cortini, Adrian Belew and Brian Viglione to create a specifically spontaneous and impulsive recording. Reznor was quoted on www.nin.com, “It’s the result of working from a visual perspective – coating imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams”.
The album is available as download and in physical versions. Rob Sheridan collaborated with Artist in Residence (A+R) to create the visual and physical aesthetic. Formats include; nine tracks as a free high quality DRM free download, all 36 tracks as download, and with physical options of CD and 180gm vinyl, all with associated artwork.
